UL tests and certifies products to meet codes and standards such as ANSI, ASTM, CSA, UL and ULC. Trussbilt products are certified by UL for fire rated frames and doors, as well as for bullet-resisting and windstorm products.
Trussbilt is a member of technical committee F33 that develops standards for the detention and correctional industry. Trussbilt’s products are tested to all applicable ASTM standards.
Intertek tests and certifies products to meet codes and standards such as ANSI, ASTM, CSA, UL and ULC. Trussbilt products are certified by ITS Warnock-Hersey for fire rated frames, doors and wall panels, and windstorm products.
Trussbilt is a member of the ACA, the oldest and largest international correctional association in the world.
Trussbilt is a member of CISCA, an organization that produces publications and guidelines for, among other things, selection, installation, and material properties for metal and acoustical ceilings.
Trussbilt is a member of the CSSA and has worked with the CDCR (California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation) on numerous projects to develop standards and specifications for the detention industry.
Trussbilt has an ongoing training and qualification program with an AWS Certified Welding Inspector that tests and qualifies production welders to the AWS D1.3 (Structural Welding Code – Sheet Steel).
